The Romanian Shorin Ryu Karate Do Association was affiliated to F.R.A.M. (Romanian Martial Arts Federation), Sensei Dumitru being a founder member of this organization since 1990, since 2014 affiliated to the Romanian Federation of Karate (W.U.K.F.) and internationally to U.S.K.K.®, headquartered in Peoria Illinois, USA and Okinawa Shogen Shorin Ryu Karate Do International with center in Naha City, Okinawa, Japan.
During these years The Romanian Shorin Ryu Karate Do Association has obtained many titles in national and international competitions at kobudo, kata and kumite alike.
